Haldex and 4Motion
Golf R, Tiguan 4Motion and similar models use Haldex. A neglected filter is a common reason the car stays in front-wheel drive. Service it on interval.
TSI and TDI engine families
EA888 TSI timing chain or belt depending on generation, water pumps, PCV, carbon build-up on direct injection, TDI DPF and EGR faults. Diagnostics first, then a written quote.
Cambelt intervals by model
Polo, Golf, Passat and older Tiguan engines often share a belt-and-pump job. The interval is engine-code specific. We confirm it from the registration, not a guess from the badge on the back.
