Book a diagnostic if a warning light is on, the car has a running fault, or a noise started suddenly. Book a service if the car is due on mileage or time, even if it feels fine. A service is scheduled maintenance. A diagnostic is fault-finding. Doing a service will not clear a stored ABS fault, and a scan will not change the oil.
Book a diagnostic
We scan the relevant modules, look at live data, and give you a written report. Then you decide whether to go ahead with the repair.
- Any warning light that was not there last week
- Misfire, loss of power, limp mode
- Gearbox messages, 4WD messages, battery warnings
- A new noise, smell or leak you cannot place
Book a service
A full service includes inspection. If we find a fault we will say so. That is not the same as starting with a diagnostic for a light that is already on.
- Oil service or vehicle check due on the iDrive / dash
- Twelve months or the mileage interval, whichever comes first
- You want filters, inspection and a digital service entry
When you need both
Car is due a service and the engine light is on. We can scan it first, quote the repair, and do the service in the same visit if you want. Ask when you book.
